UNC Asian Students Association is thrilled to present this year's Journey Into Asia!! 

JIA is UNC ASA's annual showcase of exciting and dynamic talent pertaining to Asian culture. This year, with the theme being "Embrace," we want to inspire everyone to truly take pride in their cultural heritage, be it Asian or not! Check out our awesome promo video HERE if you haven’t already seen it!

We will be pitsitting all this week leading up to the show! (If it rains, we’ll be stationed inside Lenoir.) Tickets can also be purchased online at http://memorialhall.unc.edu/ or at the Memorial Hall Box Office in person.

$10 at the door

We STRONGLY recommend you buy your tickets in advance to avoid long lines on the night of & the possibility of not getting a ticket at all if we sell out.

As always, don’t miss out on our JIA Afterparty at Pulse Nightclub from 10PM-2AM right after the show! It’ll be UNC ASA’s biggest night yet, so we hope you all will join us!

Hey everyone!

As the time to vote for Homecoming Court nears, we would like to encourage you all to vote for Eric Campbell, president of UNC Black Student Movement and a candidate for Mr. UNC. Check out the Facebook event and website for his campaign to learn more about his great service project! 

Don't forget about our Dumpling Night happening tonight at Teague! Trust us, you don't wanna miss out on these yummy concoctions!

ASA will also be attending Carnaval, hosted by Carolina Hispanic Association, this Saturday from 4-7:30PM. Come enjoy free food, fun games, & also buy your JIA tickets! We'll be posted in the SASB Plaza all afternoon, so stop on by and get your tickets before anyone else!

Also, FRESHMEN! Do you like bubble tea?? Do you want to meet other people? Come out to our Freshmen Bubble Tea Social on Tuesday, October 25 from 8-9:30PM to meet your new freshmen reps and fellow first-years over a delicious cup of bubble tea! The event is free to all ASA members, and yes, you must be a first-year student to attend. (Sorry, upperclassmen!)

Hope you all are surviving midterm season! Why not unwind from your busy week with us on Dumpling Night this Friday?! We'll have a short tutorial on how to make dumplings, and of course enjoy our delicious creations :) Already know how to make 'em? Come show off your skills! Be sure to RSVP to our Facebook event here so we know how much food to get!

Also, we're thrilled to announce that Journey Into Asia tickets are now on sale on the Memorial Hall website! Tickets are $8 in advance, and $10 at the door, but we strongly recommend you buy them before the night of because we'll most likely sell out! T-shirts are also coming soon, so be on the lookout! (And they're adorable...)
