Check out University Career Services' Diversity Job and Internship fair.  This is a career fair specifically for minority students.  Dress is business casual for older folks, Sunday best for younger folks.  Bring some resumes and your winning smile.

There will be nearly 50 large corporations looking for students of diverse backgrounds in a broad spectrum of fields.  (There might even be free stuff!)

No, we did not spell the title of this post wrong.  youREACH is a new conference coming to North Carolina brought to you by the joint powers of the three Triangle ASA's together.  Think of it as last year's TAASCON, but with a twist.  We're working with R.E.A.C.H. to put together an event that's going to bring college students together from all parts of North Carolina right here to Chapel Hill. The theme for our conference this year is "Empower Yourself."  Just like Youtube lets you broadcast yourself, we're helping you become empowered to change the world.

The conference is on October 1st, 2011, so save the date. Stay tuned for more announcements about the conference.  Trust us, you won't want to miss this!
